2018 International Conference on Smart Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation(SMIMA 2018) was held in School of Information and Control, Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, China during May 24-26, 2018. It is co-sponsored by Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, China and University of Information Technology, Vietnam. Accepted papers after proper registration and presentation were published in MATEC Web of Conferences(ISSN: 2261-236X), which were submitted for index by Ei Compendex and Scopus.
2019 2nd International Conference on Smart Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation(SMIMA 2019) is Organized by School of Information and Safety Engineering, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and will be held on February 22-24, 2019 in Shenzhen, China. SMIMA 2019 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Smart Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Smart Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Smart Materials, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation and related areas.
*Full Paper Submission- Accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings, authors will be invited to give an oral/poster presentation on site.
*Abstract Submission- Accepted abstract will be included in conference program, but will not published, authors will be invited to give an oral/poster presentation on site

2. Policy on Multiple Submissions
SMIMA will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review, is accepted for publication, or has already been published in another conference or a journal. Authors are also expected not to submit their papers elsewhere during the SMIMA reviewing period.
SMIMA is utterly intolerant of plagiarism. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.
If the author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:
Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.
Report the authors violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s)
Report the authors violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.
Reserve the right to publish the authors name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiarist
